A Plume d’excellence for our 100% Culture Saint-Lambert microsite!
Published on June 6, 2018
The City of Saint-Lambert is proud to announce that it has won a bronze Plume d’excellence in the New Media category for its 100% Culture Saint-Lambert microsite. Awarded annually by the Association des communicateurs municipaux (ACMQ), the Plume d’excellence awards recognize the best achievements in municipal communications.
This microsite was produced by Catherine Langevin, Head of the Communications Management division, Joannie Laplante, Information Officer, and Corinne Frère, Information Officer (replacement), in collaboration with Marie-Josée Benoit, Director of Library, Arts and Culture Services Office, and Nadine Mercier, Head of the Arts and Culture Management division (replacement). The development of the microsite was entrusted to the firm Globalia.
The microsite went through an exhaustive and rigorous planning process, with much effort devoted to identifying needs and the best possible options to meet the objectives. It was a real challenge of creativity, considering the few resources that were allocated to the project. Potential visitors guided the development of the microsite, and the current version will evolve based on their feedback. Following six months of work, the microsite, with its modern design and simplified navigation, came online in October 2017.
The members of the jury also noted the following key strengths of the project:
- Attractive digital showcase
- Very modern design
- Smooth and simple navigation
There were more than 110 submissions to the Plume d’excellence competition this year. Of this number, 34 won awards, including the City of Saint-Lambert.
