Barbara Claus

For over 30 years, the work of Barbara Claus has revolved around questions such as representation, time, rituals, death, here and elsewhere, transience and permanence. Philosophical in nature, her journey explores spaces of silence and the role of the sacred and slowness in a world where everything seems to be accelerating. Her installations invest places with drawings on walls, words and artist books.
