In October, culture takes place of pride in Saint-Lambert with the 4th edition of the Rentrée culturelle!

The Ville de Saint-Lambert is proud to present the 4th edition of the Rentrée culturelle, which will be taking place throughout the month of October.
In collaboration with a number of cultural organizations, the City will present concerts, lectures, workshops, and performances during this month dedicated to celebrating and showcasing our cultural vitality. A host of 100% cultural discoveries await residents who take part in the event!
Program features
- Concert – 20th anniversary gala | Saturday, October 1, at 7 p.m, at the multi-purpose centre [FULL]
To underscore the 20th anniversary of the Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie, this festive event celebrates International Music Day by showcasing the next generation of young talent.
- Dance performances | Friday, October 14, at 7 p.m., at the multi-purpose centre [CANCELED BY THE ORGANIZATION]
Cabaret-style performances by dance troupes from Studio Danse C. A great way to discover the students’ achievements and various dance styles.
- Illustration workshop | Saturday, October 15, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the library
The Friends of the Saint-Lambert Library Foundation present an illustration workshop led by Geneviève Després.
- Figurative gestural painting - live | Sunday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., 1705 Victoria Avenue (room 117)
A number of large, Jackson Pollock-type gestural canvases will be produced live by Ian Le Gwen from the Maison des Arts Rive-Sud. He will use the dripping technique and other unusual tools!
- Open-door rehearsal | Tuesday, October 18, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the multi-purpose centre
Come hear one of the weekly rehearsals of the South Shore Children’s Chorus and share the pleasure of choral singing.
- Talk on the role of the Royal Canadian Legion | Wednesday, October 19, at 7:30 p.m., at the multi-purpose centre
This talk by the Mouillepied Historical Society presents an overview of the main activities of the Legion and the important role it played in Saint-Lambert from 1936 to 2017.
- Open-door rehearsal | Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the multi-purpose centre
Under the direction of their new choir director Gabrielle Gaudreault, see how the St. Lambert Choral Society prepares for its upcoming concert, which will be presented on Saturday, December 3, at 7:30 p.m., at the Église catholique de Saint-Lambert.

A number of the activities offered during the Rentrée culturelle are made possible thanks to financial support from the Government of Quebec and the Ville de Saint-Lambert, under the cultural development agreement between the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications and the Ville de Saint-Lambert.
The Rentrée culturelle
The Rentrée culturelle was created in 2017 as an annual flagship event to promote Saint-Lambert’s cultural wealth. It consists of a series of activities with the goal of providing greater visibility to our full range of cultural services.
