Kay Aubanel
Artist-painter
For over 20 years, landscapes have captured Kay Aubanel’s imagination: living outdoors, painting and drawing their motifs, where the changing pace of the composite elements and light offer up an ever-renewed challenge. The rich and varied quality of each site awaits the artist’s discovery and is later explored in-depth in a studio work.
Ms. Aubanel’s main medium is oils and her works appear in various public and private collections such as the Prêt d'œuvres d'art (renting a work of art) collection of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, the Canada Council Art Bank and the Collection Loto-Québec.
The artist is also a member of the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec (RAAV).
