Camilla Sironi

Born in Italy to a French mother and Italian father, Camilla Sironi has now lived in Quebec for nearly 15 years. She has been avidly cultivating her passion for words since childhood, first in Italian, then in French. She is trilingual and holds a MSc in Communication. The mother of two young children, she lives in Saint-Lambert and published her first novel, Pourtant, je suis là, in September 2020.

Published in the literary collection Librai’re by Les Éditions au Carré, the novel tells the story of a Montreal writer with a dissolute past who embarks on a search for her long-gone son. This trip, driven by the love and complexity of the mother-son relationship, takes us somewhere between Provence and Italy, between past and present.
