Sheet metal and plastic figure prominently in her purified compositions of sleepy places. Only a few traces belie a human presence.<\/p>\n\n<p>Part of the \u201cVacancy\u201d series, this work was shot during a trip that took the photographer to Rivi\u00e8re-du-Loup, where she fell in love with the Au Vieux Fanal motel.
