For a photographer, light is everything. I prefer my light to be natural. The dialogue between me and the light becomes a chess game in which I always concede the blanks. I develop my strategy according to its openness.<\/p>\n\n
The origins of this photographic journey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n I was doing my morning yoga session when, through the curtain in my bedroom, I caught sight of this book of light with two blank pages. I saw in it the unwritten story of the new day to be lived and created. And I took a photo. It’s amazing how many images I’ve made with the objects that surround me in the morning, when the sun floods every surface. Over time, I’ve accumulated, sorted and worked on a huge number of them. This tour presents seven of them.<\/p>\n\n A storyteller<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Through all the jobs I do, I define myself as a storyteller. When I conceive my images, a narrative is woven in my head. Sometimes the result is a story, long or short, like the ones I’m sharing with you here.<\/p>\n\n After studying at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montr\u00e9al, Pierre Cavale began his career as an actor. He then spread his wings as a filmmaker, author, composer, radio host, photographer and digital artist. In recent years, he has taken part in several group exhibitions, in addition to signing his first major solo in 2023.<\/p>\n\n At the same time, he has played a number of TV roles.
