Cultural mediation as part of the Open Air Museum
Published on September 12, 2018
One of the goals of the Open Air Museum is to demystify the role of the artist, art and creation. To this end, the City of Saint-Lambert decided to organize another cultural mediation activity. More than 400 students from kindergarten to grade six welcomed artist Chloé Beaulac into their classrooms for a series of creative workshops.
The cultural mediation activity resulted in two impressive collective paintings and also inspired an original work by the artist:
- Lignes de jeux
- Pixels pop
- Ars memoriae by Chloé Beaulac
In addition, the students went on guided tours of the Open Air Museum to continue their exploration of creation in the city.
The City of Saint-Lambert thanks the directors, teachers and students of the Rabeau, Saints-Anges and Saint‑Lambert Elementary schools for their enthusiastic participation in this project.
