Launch of the 2019 public piano season

Published on May 30, 2019

The City of Saint-Lambert is pairing up with Festival Classica to launch the fifth season of its public piano in style. To celebrate this place for cultural exchange, where artists and music fans can rub shoulders all summer long, you are invited to Gordon Park on May 31 at 4 p.m. to attend the piano unveiling ceremony. This will be followed by a musical performance featuring a special appearance by internationally acclaimed solo violinist Alexandre Da Costa, who is also the artistic director and conductor of the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil, and talented pianist Dominic Boulianne.

Then, right through to September 29, local music virtuosos or amateur pianists will have their turn! You are all invited to brighten up our downtown core with beautiful melodies or to come and hear your talented fellow citizens’ play. The piano will be accessible on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will not be accessible on statutory holidays or when the chances of rain are 60% or more.
