Sculpture and digital arts

Violette Dionne is a sculptor and ceramic artist. She holds a master’s degree in visual arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. In recent years, her works have been featured in solo exhibitions at the Galerie d’art d’Outremont, the Centre d’art 1700 La Poste in Montreal, the Musée des Maîtres et Artisans du Québec, the Centre Materia in Quebec City, the Galerie d’art Desjardins in Drummondville, and the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo, Ontario.

In 2000, she won the “Prix du public” at the Trois-Rivières Biennale nationale de céramique, and in 1997, the “Prix d’excellence” at the Salon international de design de Montréal. Her artwork appears in major private and public collections in Canada. She currently works out of her Montreal studio, where she teaches sculpture and modelling.
