Architectural woodwork, cabinet making, and wood sculpture

Born in Lyon, Romain Servillat began his journey by learning the traditional methods of woodwork and cabinet making. He also did training in wood sculpture and heritage restoration with the British master Andrew Orton.

In 2005, he moved to Byblos, Lebanon, where he opened a sculpture and design objects workshop. His work then shifted to the creation of contemporary furniture.

Since 2007, Mr. Servillat has lived in Quebec, where he specializes in the restoration of Victorian houses. Today, with more than 25 years of experience to his name, he carries out customized projects in the field of architectural element restoration, as well as interior design projects.

He is a member of the Conseil des Métiers d’Art du Québec.
