What defines Iolanda Cojan’s art above all else is “the light.” Her artworks are a continual dialogue with light. It is the light that surrounds her in daily life, filtered through her own internal light, that she conveys in her canvasses, watercolours and drawings. Whether in her compositions, landscapes, portraits or still lifes, beyond the free and precise gestures or vibrant colours, it is the light that comes through her artwork.
