Sherbrooke native Suzanne Ferland studied visual arts at UQAM and cultural management at HEC Montréal. She developed her artistic practice alongside a professional life as an artistic director in film and television. This work had a determining influence on her artistic approach, especially on her eye for cinematic framing and the dynamic of the image. She lives and works in her studio in Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley in the Eastern Townships.
