Chloé Beaulac

Chloé Beaulac lives in Montérégie and Estrie. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University (2010) where she specialized in printmaking. She is a multidisciplinary artist who draws inspiration from printmaking and uses photography, video, drawing, printmaking, painting, installation, and sculpture to communicate her perception of the world.

The artist has received several awards and distinctions for her creations. In 2022, she was a finalist for the CALQ-Artist of the Year Award in Montérégie. In 2019, she was awarded the Cultural Ambassador Award at the Longueuil gala. In the fall of 2019, she was the winner of the Missions photographiques des Laurentides, an award presented jointly by Loto-Québec, the Rencontres internationales de la photographie en Gaspésie and the Val-David Exhibition Centre. In 2018, she won the Prix relève culture Montérégie – La Fabrique culturelle for her body of work and her involvement in the region. In 2015, she won the Télé-Québec Award presented jointly by the Biennale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières (BIECTR) and La Fabrique culturelle for her work Au cœur du magnétisme.

Beaulac a présenté son travail dans le cadre de plusieurs projets d’art public, expositions solos, expositions de groupe et résidences d’artistes au Québec, au Canada et à l’international. Elle a développé et produit plusieurs corpus d’œuvres grâce au généreux soutien de diverses organisations – Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Conseil des arts de Longueuil, Conseil des arts du Canada, La Société de développement des entreprises culturelles ainsi que Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec, pour n’en nommer que quelques-unes. Elle travaille dans le domaine culturel pour le Ministère de la Culture et des Communications, pour la Ville de Montréal et pour plusieurs centres culturels à travers le Québec.
